What Loops is good at

  • Free plan with all features for up to 1,000 subscribed contacts.
  • Prices on subscribed contacts, not sends, with transactional email included on paid plans and no per-seat charges.
  • Official SDKs and integrations including Stripe, Supabase, Clerk and Zapier.

Where Loops breaks

  • It is email only; there is no SMS, push or in-app channel.
  • The free plan stops at 4,000 sends to your 1,000 newest contacts in any rolling 30 days and adds Loops branding.
  • Paid prices are not listed on the pricing page.

When a custom build beats Loops

When you only send a couple of transactional emails, a raw email API is enough; once you run campaigns and lifecycle flows, building them yourself rarely pays off.
