The verdict

Both are 24/7 agents that work in the cloud while your devices are off and check with you before major actions, and neither is available on personal plans in the EEA, Switzerland or the UK. Gemini Spark is far cheaper to try, included in Google AI Pro at $19.99 a month in the US, and is built around Gmail, Drive, Docs and Calendar, but it works only with personal Google Accounts and runs at most 15 tasks at once. A dot needs ChatGPT Pro from $100 a month or Business Premium, connects to 4,000+ apps plus Slack and Teams, and has a business plan route.

Pick Spark if your life is in a personal Google account; pick a dot if your team works in Slack or Teams and you already pay for Pro.
