What Superhuman Mail is good at

  • Split Inbox and Auto Labels sort incoming mail so important senders surface first.
  • Starter includes Instant Reply, Auto Summarize, Auto Archive and Auto Reminders.
  • Business adds Auto Drafts, Ask AI, voice and tone matching and a Mail MCP.

Where Superhuman Mail breaks

  • It only works with Gmail and Outlook accounts.
  • There is no free plan and reviewers report no traditional free trial.
  • It is a personal email client, not a help desk: it has no ticketing, customer-facing AI agent or support reporting, and reviewers say it takes commitment to learn its keyboard-first approach.

When a custom build beats Superhuman Mail

Rarely for personal email speed; custom only wins when you need email handling wired into your own systems, such as auto-filing requests into a CRM or tracker.
