The verdict

Both cover writing, analysis and coding well, both have a team plan, and neither team plan trains on your content by default, so the choice comes down to how you work. ChatGPT has the wider set of plans, from a cheap Go tier to Pro, and the broadest API model range. Claude publishes its Team price, $20 per seat billed annually or $25 monthly, for 2 to 150 people, but meters usage in rolling five hour windows with weekly caps. On personal plans, both use chats for training unless you turn it off, so put client work on a team workspace.

Decide on two things: which one your team already reaches for, and whether usage windows or plan prices you can read up front matter more to you.
